Jakarta, December 19 – Eddy Saputra met with Doni from Doni Racing School (DRS) today to discuss a strategic collaboration involving Pertamina Lubricants and the VR46 Riders Academy, in partnership with NitiRacing and Doni Racing School, to host a rider academy program aimed at developing the skills of Indonesian riders.
As part of the program, four MotoGP riders from the VR46 Riders Academy will deliver exclusive coaching sessions to 12 selected DRS students at the Mandalika International Circuit. The training will follow an intensive format, with each VR46 rider mentoring three riders, ensuring focused instruction and effective transfer of MotoGP-level experience.
The rider academy program is scheduled for late January and will align with the Mandalika Racing Series, led by Edi, reinforcing Mandalika’s role as a key hub for international-level rider development in Indonesia.
This collaboration highlights a shared commitment by Pertamina Lubricants, VR46 Riders Academy, NitiRacing, and Doni Racing School to strengthen Indonesia’s motorsport ecosystem by providing young riders with direct access to world-class coaching and professional racing standards.
